ABOUT the World of WOW Science.
WOW science has been created out of a love and respect for kids that all parents will understand. We accept how children are in real life, and say that any kids can be real scientists – in their own ways. So many so-called science kits are disappointing to kids and parents. They seem to be so promising on the shelf , but when you get into them they are devoid of real adventure – real joy -real fun - real exploration. Its all ‘pre cooked’ – someone has done it all before. You just ‘go thru the motions’. And if there was any magic – some boring but well meaning adult seems to want to explain it all away in words most of us can’t understand. So what can OUR kids contribute? No a lot!
WOW ‘officially’ puts the kids into the driver’s seat of science! And we expect some more conservative adults will criticize us for not ‘teaching the kids the facts’, and for encouraging silly ideas. Well … er … GUILTY!!! But we’d like to refer those people to our Academic Research links below. We do feel we have some pretty solid philosophical back up – but no one seems to have done anything about it quite the way we have.
