They are extremely durable and have lasted longer than the electronic ones. Sure there is no light, but the good more than makes up for the bad. Some people complain about the white marks that appear on the blade, but I think it looks kind of like the white part of the lightsaber. The fact that the handles and blades are very light is cool.
