Overview:
During an experimental space mission, astronaut John Crichton is hurled across a thousand galaxies to an alien battlefield. He joins a trio of escaped prisoners, Pa'u Zotoh Zhaan, Ka D'Argo and Rygel XVI, who have taken control of their bio-mechanoid prison ship, Moya. A Peacekeeper officer, Aeryn Sun, joins them when her commander deems her Irreversibly Contaminated by the prisoners. The fugitives desperately search for their home worlds while trying to stay one step ahead of Captain Crais and the merciless military race, the Peacekeepers.

One of the most ambitious series ever produced for television, the first season of Farscape climaxed with the addition of a new friend, Chiana, a deadly new enemy, Scorpius, and an exciting season finale cliffhanger which leaves the lives of Crichton and D'Argo in limbo - quite literally.
