With The Lord of the Rings tabletop battle game you can reenact your favorite scenes from the movie with Games Workshop's fantastic miniatures and models while battling it out across the battlefield. From the attack at Weathertop, to the depths of Moria and the surprise encounter at Amon hen, you can do it all.
The Fellowship of the Ring is a tabletop miniatures game wherein two or more players take command of powerful warriors such as the valiant Men of Gondor the High Elves, or the corrupted and wholly evil Goblins of Moria .
There are even rules in the book so that you can use the mighty Heroes of the Fellowship itself (far right), as they relive the conflicts of the film or fight entirely all-new battles (what if Aragorn and Boromir had faced the Balrog at the Bridge of Khazad-düm?). All you need is a flat surface to serve as your battlefield and The Lord of the Rings tabletop game to get you started!
When you place your collection of finely-detailed Fellowship of the Ring miniatures (see Frodo at 
left) on the table, you are in control of the action! You decide what strategies and maneuvers your warriors will use! You (with the help of a handful of dice) can move, shoot, and fight with your models on the battlefield. You can re-fight the brutal and fast-paced battles which take place in the film! There are eight scenarios in the rulebook to help you do just this. You are the master of the forces of Middle-earth on the tabletop!

The Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring boxed game is your gateway to the hobby of miniature gaming in the mythical lands of Middle-earth. All that's required to start playing is to assemble your models and scenery to relive the action by using the scenarios in the full-color and massively illustrated rulebook. Models are supplied unpainted but there are plenty of painting tips and a full-color guide within the rules to aid you in getting your miniature warriors looking great on the tabletop!
The Fellowship of the Ring boxed game contains: One (1) 128 page full-color rulebook, forty-eight (48) highly detailed plastic miniatures: eight (8) Men of Gondor, sixteen (16) High Elf Warriors and twenty-four (24) Moria Goblins with various evil implements of destruction, ruined building scenery, and enough six-sided dice to get you playing right away.
