It also provides the added advantage of being able to
produce some amazing beach surf fishing.
Species include Black Bream, Estuary Peach,
Aust Bass, Luderick, Aust Salmon, Trevaly,
Dusky Fathead, Sand Flathead,
Yellow Eyed Mullet, Grass Whiting ,
Sand Whiting. All other fish ocean
catches include Snapper, King GeorgeWhiting,
Yellow Tail, Baracuda, Gernard,
Snipe, Gummy Shark, Mako Shark,
The warm summer months also provide exciting prawn netting on the estuary beaches
Some large tiger prawns are the spice of the dinner table and BBQ plate.
The local hotel has a beautiful view of the estuary foreshore that certainly gives the throat
a real thirst quenching effect and dinner appetite with a locally cooked counter meal and cold beer
or selected chilled wine.
